When We Come Before God, We Should Walk Away Changed; Unspoken Asks Him to Start a Fire!

If church is where God’s Word is preached, doesn’t this change us, because God’s Word does not come back void? If so, then it’s in this space that we ask God to change us – to pray to Him, and that He in turn comes to us.

I was talking to a friend the other day about why we go to church – is it for us, is it for God, is it for others? If church is where God’s Word is preached, doesn’t this change us, because God’s Word does not come back void? If so, then it’s in this space that we ask God to change us – to pray to Him, and that He in turn comes to us. With the Christian band Unspoken, this prayer is that he “Start a Fire.” Amen?
