This Pastor Didn’t Want to Attend His Church’s Christmas – but Now There’s Always Hope

Ed Dobson loved being a pastor, and like many of us, he loved Christmas. His church’s annual festival of lights brought joy and hope and a remembrance of this God made flesh, Jesus. But when Ed was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease and given 2-5 years to live by doctors, he didn’t see hope. That was ten years ago, and in this blessed Christmas, Ed lives out what the Christ child embodies: there is always hope.
