Do not be afraid. Live life as a gift. Remember that God is with you from conception into eternity. Be a friend to all, and enjoy the friendships that will enter your life as a result. Try to see the good in all things. You have the choice.

This video is a marvelous meditation for anybody, not just my aging friends. Enjoy the music and the visuals, but meditate on the words. You’ll want to watch it many times, and for all the right reasons.

We are born and we will die, those are the parameters of life. But it is what lies between these two borders that makes all the difference. We have been given hearts and minds, feelings and reason, and we have been empowered with free will. Choose life then, even when it is not easy. Choose the attitudes that make life an adventure, that get you through the inevitable challenges that life can bring. Do all of this with faith in the unconditional love and mercy of God. If you do, you will know the only wealth worth having, happiness.
