The Sanctity Of The ShroudFaithHub
“But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water.” — John 19:34
One of the most sacred Christian relics is the Shroud of Turin, the linen burial cloth that is thought by many to have been wrapped around Jesus after his crucifixion. The shroud bears the image of a man, front and back, and the stains on the cloth match all the areas of injury that we know Jesus suffered before his death. You have probably seen images of the shroud before, but this video is a powerful, close up view of the shroud, along with additional artist-rendered images of Jesus’ appearance, based upon the image on the shroud.
