Azim Khamisa couldn’t believe it when he got the phone call from police saying that his 20-year-old son, Tariq, had been killed by a 14-year-old gang member in a random act of gang violence. Tariq did not know his assailant and was not himself involved in gangs.

Devastated, he didn’t know how to move forward, until he met the boy who killed his son, and saw in him not a murderer, but the soul of a child who himself was a victim of the society he lives in. That was the first step for Azim, to begin his road to forgiveness.

Hear this fascinating interview with Azim and learn about his 3 Milestones to reach in order to truly forgive.
