The Joy of Thanksgiving

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

In his letters, Paul wrote repeatedly that he had learned to be content in all circumstances. He was also repeatedly praying his thanks to God for the people in his life. Modern science is discovering that these two things may well be connected. In the video below, SoulPancake challenges some folks to identify the one person who has impacted them most – and then thank those people in person. Though an unexpected twist for the participants, we know that in Christ there is love, joy, peace and so much more – so long as we thank Him for it.
