Do You Ever Feel Like Sometimes We’re Missing The Point Of Church?

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. – Matthew 28:19

This is the Great Commission. This is the culmination of Jesus’ ministry, the call to go, to make, to recruit, to spread the Gospel. Sometimes it feels like between board meetings about the new carpet in the sanctuary, and filling up the calendar with special church events, we’ve lost the point. Sure, these things start out with the best of intentions, but take some time today to get to the heart of this simple command – “Go and make disciples.”
