In November, we told you about one simple thing that could make a huge impact for the homeless of our home city, Seattle. With partner organizations around the Puget Sound, volunteers from the office and coordination from our friend Eddie Wang of Centered, the FaithHub community stepped up and helped raise thousands of dollars – and thousands of sleeping bags – for people around King County.

With camera in tow, volunteers from the GreaterGood offices made an impact the likes of which we strive for every day. There were a lot of thankful people, but many more were unaware – the sort of anonymous gift that would make their day when they themselves woke up to a new bag. As much as we helped them, the impact was made on us – this is what loving your neighbor looks like; it’s as much for us as it is for them, its own reward. Amen.
