When Jesus told the disciples to literally go to the extra mile and to provide his shirt as well as his coat if the poor should ask for the one, what did he say about, well, food? We live in a world with so much abundance, not just for those of us in developed nations, but for the poor as well – and yet the problem seems to be a way to share the wealth. Skip1.org has an idea that can meaningfully change your habits to better help the world: just skip something you would normally do, and instead give to another. A golf game? A dinner out? A coffee?
