Somewere Out There, This Reddit User and His Parents Are Underneath the Same Sky. What an Awesome Connection.

Living abroad can be tough. It’s also terribly exciting, and opportunities to see the world are understandably moments that many students jump at in college. But on the other side of the world, his parents were just waking up. And 20 minutes later, were ready to say good morning with sunrise:

As that song from An American Tale goes, “it helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star / And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby / It helps to think we’re sleeping underneath the same big sky.” Technology can make this so real, so true. Case in point, this telecom commercial.

Thanks, Reddit user Sip Time, for sharing your story and reminding us how small the world is. Awesome.
