Young Widower Recreates Wedding Photos With His Adorable Little Daughter

Benjamin Nunery had a short and wonderful marriage. For 4.5 years, Ben and wife Ali made an empty house into a home while raising beautiful little Olivia. But that turned to heartbreak when Ali was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. On November 3, 2011, she went in peace with the prayers of her family by her side. Two years later, Ben and little Olivia were ready to move out, but not without some memories. So sister-in-law Melanie, a professional photographer, came into the Nunery house to capture the last moments, just as she had captured the first moments of Ben and Ali’s life together in the house.

Says Ben:

This is a story about love. The pain is nothing compared to the love that I feel for Ali and Olivia and that’s the story I want these pictures to tell to Olivia in the years to come and to anyone else that sees them.
