The classic poem “Footprints” leaks into the Christian consciousness by home decor, bookmarks, and sermon illustrations so frequently. The power it carries to remind us that God carries us in the hard times has been reinterpreted time and time again. But in an era of videos and image memes, it’s nice to have a clip that carries the idea all on its own. When we walk, we often keep Jesus at a distance – we know he’s there, but we live our lives on our own. Until one instant – and that instant can seem so simple – when life breaks down. And then we are reminded from where our true help comes. Check it out in the clip below – and say something.
