It is rare that people are presented with a second chance, but they do happen, sometimes at the last moment possible.

This is true for Wanda, a nurse in the Bronx. One day, as she was walking into the room of a cancer patient, she found the father who had walked out on her family 40 years ago when she was just a child.

Where many people would have used this opportunity to settle an old score, Wanda’s reaction was absolutely touching. She has no interest in talking about the past – only catching up and creating new memories with her father in the little time they have.
