Instead Of Presents And A Party, Mia Chose To Serve The Homeless On Her 7th Birthday

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Acts 20:35

Praise the Lord for this young girl’s heart and conviction! When little Mia visited New York City, she was confronted with the reality of homelessness. Back home, it was time for her birthday, but she asked her mom if instead of presents, she could use the money to feed the homeless people in her community. Touched by her daughter’s sweet spirit, Mia’s mom posted on social media for friends and family to come volunteer with them in leu of a party or gifts.

We believe this girl will do great things!
