Three hundred years ago, Czech priest David Nitschmann saled from central Europe, where likely he had never seen an ocean, to the Caribbean islands. There, in a new climate, surrounded by people speaking Spanish or French (Nitschmann spoke regional German natively), and surrounded by African slaves. The future bishop’s response? Sell himself into slavery, if that was the only way to reach these men and women who needed Christ. This great song and music video tell his beautiful story.
