This Photo Went Viral Earlier This Year… Find Out Why!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in this case, I couldn’t agree more. Photographer Dwayne Schmidt captured this candid moment between U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Caleb Earwood and his bride, Maggie.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in this case, I couldn’t agree more. Weddings are such a busy, stressful, joyous, nerve-wrecking, happy, fill-in-the-blank time, and yet – we are called to make space for Jesus, even in the midst of this chaotic and life-changing event. We were about to take our first steps in life together, and we didn’t want to take a step without it being in God’s will.

This photo was taken just moments before the couple walked down the isle. It was posted onto the photographer’s facebook page, and has since been shared over 1,000 times! What an amazing testimony to giving everything over to God, and how we as Christians can step out in confidence, knowing the direction He has called us has been covered in prayer.

I prayed to God for my beautiful and intelligent wife that he blessed me with and the amazing family I was marrying into.

Caleb and Maggie were friends in high school, and started dating two years ago. They have been inseparable ever since, and the rest, as they say, is history. May these two newlyweds always remember their special day, and the vows they made before God and family. We wish Caleb and Maggie all the best, and pray that they keep up the habit of spending time with God through any and all circumstances!
