Kentucky Man Buys Out Kmart and Gives it All to Charity

This man’s beautiful act of kindness and generosity is a blessing to his entire community!

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, β€˜It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” – Acts 20:35

When Rankin Paynter visited a Kmart in his town that was slated to close in two days, he got curious about what would happen to all the inventory that didn’t get sold off. In a move of extraordinary kindness and generosity, Rankin decided that he would buy up everything that was left in the store. His shopping spree took 4 checkers over 6 hours to ring up and cost about $200,000. He has donated his entire purchase to Clark County Community Services, the largest donation the organization has ever received. See how much joy Rankin gets at the prospect that those in need will get the warm clothes they need this coming winter!
