Joyous Worship Scene from Sister Act

Watch this clip from Sister Act that is guaranteed to make you want to sing-a-long and dance with them!

We worship God at Church in different ways; some raise their hands, others sing a loud, and others do a little dance. In the classic movie, “Sister Act,” starring Whoopi Goldberg, Whoopi plays a Vegas singer who witnesses a murder. She flees Las Vegas, masquerading as a nun in a covenant, renamed Sister Mary Clarence, and shakes up the established order of the sisters’ lives, particularly enlivening their choral efforts. Although running constantly afoul of the Mother Superior (Maggie Smith), the new, jazzed-up musical act becomes a huge hit in the community, even drawing the attention of the Pope. Watch this clip of the choir sing “Oh Maria,” that is guaranteed to make you want to sing-a-long and dance with them!

If you love this wonderful high-energy worship, don’t miss the Soweto Gospel Choir sing “Amazing Grace!”
