Twenty Years Ago, Jack Fled for His Life as a Refugee. Today, He’s Giving Life to Thousands.

Too many lives depend on his work: the thousands upon thousands of internal refugees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where so many displaced by war need access to pure water to avoid cholera.

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. James 1:27

Jack Kahorha’s family doesn’t like him working so much – he’ll be gone from morning to evening, and only come home to do some more poking at the computer. But Jack won’t stop; he can’t stop. Too many lives depend on his work: the thousands upon thousands of internal refugees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where so many displaced by war need access to pure water to avoid cholera. Jack was once one of them, and now his mission is to save every one of them, just as he himself got a chance to live.
