One Mom Becomes Instagram-Famous For The Best Reason Possible!
You, too, can do something with all of those baby photos on your phone!
If you have kids, grandkids, nieces, or nephews, then you probably have at least a few hundred photos of these cute family members stored on your phone just waiting to show anyone who asks. Australian mom, Thu Pham, also had a zillion photos of her precious daughters sitting on her phone. She decided to do something totally unique and creative with her photos as a sweet reminder to her girls that they can be whatever they want to be when they grow up.
Using the PicsArt app, Thu was able to take her photos and turn them into fun and quircky works of art! As you can imagine, it’s not easy to get the perfect photo of a toddler. Thu says she has about 30 seconds to snap her photos before her kids are ready to do something else. In that time, however, she is able to get about 20-50 photos if she’s quick on the draw, and then she can go through and pic out the best one to add some art to.
“Sometimes the ideas come instantly just by the way her face is expressed and how the body is positioned,” Thu said in an interview with the Huffington Post. “But like some artists, I do suffer from creative blocks!”
Ever since Thu started sharing her creative photos on Instagram, her she has gained quite the following. As of Monday, she and her daughters had over fourteen thousand followers!
Thu hopes to let her daughters know that the adventures and possibilities are endless in this life. When she gets in a creative slump, or feels like giving up, Thu reminds herself of why she started in the first place. “These little drawings are to be kept as treasured memories, on how I believe that anything is possible for my little girls.”
