I’ve Washed Feet Before, and It Was Humbling…On This Scale, It’s Moving!

Jesus’ washing of the disciples’s feet was, as any pastor will tell you, a gracious act of pure service…who needs this in our world? And how do we serve.

At the Last Supper, Jesus removed his own robe and knelt to wash the feet of his disciples; it was, as any pastor will tell you, a gracious act of pure service, a needful thing for those who walked everywhere in sandals. So Omar Gosh, and their hundreds of YouTube followers, partnered with K-Mart to provide the homeless with shoes, socks and backpacks – new things that we take for granted, but that they need everyday. And then one step further, with Amazing Love Ministries, they removed their robes, bent down and served by washing feet. Just wow.
