Heroic Pit Bull Saves Her Owner From a Fire

When a fire broke out in the Steen family’s home one night their 15-month-old pit bull, Diamond, woke everyone. Her warning allowed her owner Darryl to get his youngest daughter out a window but in the chaos of the fire he wasn’t able to find his 16-year-old daughter, Sierra. When firefighters entered the apartment they found Diamond laying on top of Sierra, shielding the girl from the flames but getting badly burned herself.
