Hero Boy Saves Family From Fire, Tragically Loses Life

Alex Swigart was a blessing to his family all the way to the end of his short life. The 12-year-old autistic boy was the first person to smell the smoke and he alert his father that their home was on fire. The two crawled through the home to escape but when Alex’s father reached the door, he realized that Alex wasn’t with him.
