But Jason Castro may be the first since Carrie Underwood to carry the Gospel into a music career. After a stunning rendition of Leonard Cohen’s beloved “Hallelujah” among the top 16, Castro went on to be a finalist – and now carries a knowledge that he is called to be a loving father, a faithful husband and a servant to all, even as a musician.
