In October of 2006, a milk truck driver entered the school house of a small Amish community in Pennsylvania. Five girls were dead and five others injured before Charles Roberts turned the gun on himself. This tragedy could have been enough to jade any person, but the Pennsylvania Dutch community were stunningly – and heartbreakingly – quick to forgive, attending Roberts’ funeral shortly thereafter. Now, Charles’ mother Terri is on her own crusade. Empowered by the love of God she felt through the Amish families, she now speaks to crowds encouraging grace and forgiveness.
