Overseas Flash Mobs Cannot Be Beat!

It doesn’t matter what the duration is, deployments themselves aren’t much fun. But that doesn’t mean that there can’t be little moments of joy. There are a variety of activities you can do in your down time and it turns out a few of the soldiers like to move it! Dancing in the dining hall is just one of the activities they do at FOB Shank.

A flash mob is not as simple as one would think, a lot of preparation goes into making the event a success.

You’ll find one such moment in the video below, where soldiers from FOB Shank form a flash mob in the dining hall to a mix of our favorite songs. It’s only moments before those not involved know what is about to go down, and they are all smiles!
