It’s one thing to be good at something; it’s another thing entirely to be fulfilled by it. And the difference is often about how your God-given talents are used: for yourself, or to make someone else’s life better? Artist Shawn van Daele goes for the latter, and it’s absolutely awesome. He photographs sick children and helps their dreams come true by cleverly editing their photographs. The outcome is a magical, “real” photo of the kids doing whatever they could dream up.

This vibrant, colorful and hope-filled series will take your breath away – and our heart for all the sick kids who can’t quite make their dreams come true.

Shawn calls it The Drawing Hope Project.
