This Teen Only Wanted One Thing – and It Took Real Courage to Ask for It.

On one Sunday morning, Davion Only stood in front of his church with a plea. The fifteen-year-old foster child just wanted to be adopted; he would take anyone for a family – just to know he was loved, and not alone. By the end of that week, hundreds of families were reaching out to his case worker at the Florida department of child protective services. They weren’t just calling from Florida. They were calling from Australia, Canada, Iran – a world ready to embrace and love a child.
