When Disney came out with Tangled, I shed a silent tear in mourning for the past. Not literally, but there was a sense – and remains a sense – that the hand drawn animations so many of us grew up with and know are forever replaced by their digital counterparts. At the Columbus College of Art, two anonymous students disagree, and longing for a simpler time create stunning displays of inspiration and beauty with…a chalkboard.

Dangerdust, as they’ve dubbed themselves, take the weekends to prepare and leave beautiful messages to their fellow students to find Monday morning. The seniors in graphic design, whoever they may be, were just tired of working on the computer, and chalking gave them motivation. Yeah, I think we all can sympathize.
