Grab The Tissues! These Sweet Giraffes Teach Us A Lesson On Friendship!

A Dutch zookeeper suffering from terminal cancer got his dying wish fulfilled when the animals he cared for bade him farewell. Mario, who spent his entire adult life cleaning the giraffe enclosure at Rotterdam’s Diergaarde Blijdorp Zoo, asked to be wheeled into the giraffe enclosure to meet his giraffes. As you can see in the video, the animals somehow sensed that there was something amiss and gave him a goodbye kiss. It is wondrous that the animals somehow knew that without needing a word to be said. As the scripture says, “Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?”

Mario spent his entire life caring for the animals, and in his dying moment, they came to express their gratitude. As the Bible says, “A righteous man regards the life of his animal.”
