This Beauty Queen Was Made Fun Of For A Photo Without make Up. Her Response Is PERFECT.

Isabelle admitted that at first, the online bullying hurt. But she didn’t dwell on that feeling for too long. She wanted to use her status as a recent pageant winner to do some good.

Teen beauty queen, Isabella Gaines, was the target of online bullying this past week. She was target by a twitter account that goes by the name, “NCOT No Make Up,” (NCOT stands for North Carolina Outstanding Teen) which describes itself as a place where you can find “NCOT girls WITHOUT MAKE UP! YUCK!”

Isabelle admitted that at first, it hurt. But she didn’t dwell on that feeling for too long. She wanted to use her status as a recent pageant winner to do some good. “No one should ever be put down, no one should ever feel less than with or without makeup,” Isabelle said in an interview with her local news station, WNCN.

This beauty queen took to social media for her response. And it was incredible.

Instead of lashing out, or posting a bunch of photos that made her feel good about herself, Isabelle posted more photos of herself without make up, drawing her strength from the Lord, and giving Him all the credit.

“I just wanted to remind everyone that you are all beautiful, fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image.” What a classy, mature, and inspiring teen! Her photo response was shared around, and the #NoMakeUpSelfie campaign was born. Other former and current beauty queens shared their photos with and without makeup, in hopes to reach everyone who is struggling with their own image.

While we would never wish this cyber bullying attack on anyone, it is so wonderful to see God using this hurtful situation to encourage and bless others. Share this encouraging story with all the ladies in your life who are struggling with body image!
