Where does beauty come from, and once you have it, what is it? We’ve seen some of these powerful questions and reflections raised before, and we find them encouraging, necessary voices in a media-soaked world of perfect models, actresses and singers. But this experiment conducted by BuzzFeed may be the most grounding thing we’ve ever seen. It doesn’t just tell you that you’re more beautiful than you think you are, but that…it’s part of who you are. Your beauty is you, to an extent, and you have it. But if you don’t believe us, check out the video below as four women get their defining features blotted out by PhotoShop to discover that beauty really is just skin-deep.
