Wednesday night, local police observed the latest feeding for nearly an hour, when a local news crew attempted to interview Abbot. Apparently the publicity was too much, so he was arrested – again!

A couple days ago, we learned about Arnold Abbott, a Florida man arrested for feeding the homeless. A local Fort Lauderdale ordinance bans publicly feeding the poor without public restrooms or wash facilities – hard to do when you bring in a food truck and set up a buffet line! But at ninety years old, Arnold wasn’t going to stop loving others. So he went right back to what he’s been doing for decades: feeding his neighbors. Wednesday night, local police observed the latest feeding for nearly an hour, when a local news crew attempted to interview Abbott. Apparently the publicity was too much, so he was arrested – again!
