As I come into work every morning, I walk up a flight of steps from Seattle’s downtown transit tunnel (we don’t have a real subway) onto the sidewalks above. Every few steps has the next line or word of a poem emblazoned on the rise, so if you watch the steps walking up, you can read poetry.

Street art has gradually become more accepted and wonderful form – but it often requires standing at just the right angle. These steps from around the world are amazing pictures, community murals that you just have to step back to appreciate.
