Rev. Patrick S. Hamric found an unexpected blessing in the offering plate on Sunday morning. It wasn’t a million dollars, or the deed to some old property worth a lot of money – in fact, it was quite the opposite. Tucked inside a little white envelope were 18 cents, and a note pleading with the recipient, “Please don’t be mad. I don’t have much. I’m homeless.”
