A Pastor’s Job Is Never Done

Have you shown your appreciation for your pastor or clergyman lately? October is Pastor Appreciation Month… a good time to show your gratitude!

“And I will give you pastors according to my heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding” – Jeremiah 3:15

The job of Church Pastor requires a lot of time and energy from the people who serve in that position. Their work is easily seen on Sunday mornings, but much of what happens the rest of the week goes unseen and perhaps under-appreciated, at times. It is probably safe to say that we don’t thank our pastors enough for all the work they put into our community, our church and our congregation.

The month of October is Pastor Appreciation Month. It provides us all with an ideal opportunity to recognize the efforts our clergy and the contributions they make in our lives. You may be surprised how much they really do! This video reminds us that “a pastor is a person that helps bring people to God” and also so much more! Enjoy, and don’t forget to say “Thank You” the next time you see your pastor.
