San Thome Cathedral, Madras, India

The Saint Thomas Christians – so named due to their tradition that they were taught by Thomas the Apostle – have been a small but vibrant community for centuries. Built over the tomb of Saint Thomas, this basilica originally opened in the 1500s and was reconstructed in 1893.
