How Would YOU Answer This Question?Jessica Griggs
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
We know that love is from God, and that He gave us the perfect example of sacrificial love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible has many things to say on the topic, including, but not limited to, the famous passage in 1 Corinthians that lists off characteristics of love. As Christians, we have a solid foundation of what God intended love to be. But as inhabitants of a fallen world, we also see and have experienced first hand how love can be twisted into a selfish desire, rather than a selfless act. This video asks one simple question: What is love?
Listen to the different answers, and see if they pass for a biblical definition, or a worldly definition. Think about your own answer, and how God can use you to represent love to those who have a broken view!
